ARWO Welcomes Emily Pierson as Executive Director
Longtime association executive Emily Pierson has joined ARWO as Executive Director.
Pierson was previously an account executive with an association management company in Columbus, Ohio. In that role, she served as executive director of the Ohio Section of the American Water Works Association (OAWWA). She also worked with the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses (OAAPN) and the Association for Veterans Affairs Nurse Anesthetists (AVANA).
In her role with OAWWA, Pierson led event and program management, negotiated vendor contracts, managed budgets, and coordinated marketing efforts. She also held responsibility for the association’s relationships with industry influencers, sponsors, partners, regulators, and others.
In addition to ARWO, Pierson works with the Del-Co Water Company in Delaware, Ohio.
